I need fic about how Burt starts noticing that Kurt’s turned into a pod person who doesn’t act like a teenager, keeps taking the blame for everything, no matter how deluded it is and then there’s therapy because apparently years of being told that he was deficient in some way caught up to him finally and turned him into this sad little martyred child. Or him being abducted by aliens and this Kurt being the alien counterpart trying to figure out how to behave like a human being.

I am feeling a little less ragey and more resigned this morning because lol Glee, that’s what I always do, but here are some thoughts:

Were the Hummel-Hudson parents so hung-up on Finn and Rachel’s wedding that they couldn’t spare a minute for the other kid moping around feeling unfairly guilty because the bully who threatened to kill him and then turned out to be gay called him 9 times and tried to kill himself?

Will Shuester, at this point, is such an incredible parody of a person, nothing he ever does can be treated rationally. “We were hard on him” Lol douche, no you weren’t, the only person that whole chapter was hard on was Kurt. Offer him some more water, why don’t you. Also, I cheated on a test, I absolutely know what it’s like to feel so alone and afraid that suicide seems like the best way out…what.

I don’t mind the “what do you see yourself doing in life” stuff as much because the last time they did this, Puck got the jail or dead line and Tina got a serious line about performing. But Will, punch yourself in the face for smiling when she said that about a solo.

I still can’t stand Karofsky and the show did a horrible, horrible job of forgetting everything bad he did in order to make him the focus of everyone’s sympathy and make Kurt feel guilty, but that future sequence was really nice. I might have found everything else problematic, but that part really charmed me.
